⁣In this video, sharga shares his perspective on the influencer and streamer economy, arguing that these professions are often glorified versions of mundane or performative roles.

⁣What happens when a company with more money than sense trys to be the next EA? Chaos.

The Swedish game publisher, Embracer Group, enlists a new investor to take over the gaming world. But once the deal falls through, it’s followed by a trail of destruction. Leading to the closure of studios like Volition, thousands of layoffs and dozens of projects cancelled (including a new Deus Ex).

Somehow there is a gaming company that's more mismanaged than Ubisoft, and closes more studios than EA

This is very sudden rise, and catastrophic fall of Embracer Group

Seriously though. Do NOT call them German.

YES I REALIZE I accidentally said "Hungary" at 5:18 when I said "Yugoslavian states" and Hungary was NOT part of Yugoslavia, I meant to say former "EMPIRE States!" I fixed it up with an annotation, I'm not going to Re-upload the entire video for a 2 second voiceover mistake. ALSO at 8:32 the Czech flag was upside-down.

SORRY, I'm kind of in a hurry to get ready for Finland, This is what a video looks like when I kind of rush it.

⁣Following balls up after balls up, Uber attempted a first for the company. That being a full rebrand from top to bottom. Unfortunately, the new app icon, logo and brand was so poorly received it was replaced in less than 3 years. Looking at the company now, you never would of known it ever existed.

But was it really that bad? (yes)
