Mcdonald's wants to be Starbucks

Ever since launching McCafe and after Supersize me, Mcdonald's has radically shifted it's branding, messaging, and architecture to appeal to a more mature audience.

As well as following in the footsteps of coffee chains like Starbucks to appeal to a similar audience. And most recently, Mcdonald's has now launched its own sister brand to directly compete with coffee chains.

So how has the brand changed, and how does this new venture compare to Starbucks?
